Emotions always play a role when it comes to precious metals. Gold is energy which has a presence. Archaic references indicate an imaginary and symbolic link with the shining, bright and hot sun.

Round forms are reminiscent of nuggets, bars or coins. Interior architects live off tension and energy fields – they have to „capture“ visitors and impress them.

Clear lines … as well as clearly definable functional areas allow good, quick orientation. Here discretion has an important role, although with us it comes into its own without baroque elements and massive dark doors.

You can find modern design on the one hand and conservative elements on the other at pro aurum as soon as you enter the Goldhaus. Tensions? Yes, but only of the positive kind. You will probably not see these kinds of material compositions anywhere else. So let yourself be inspired and stimulated too by the language of shapes and materials. It costs nothing to give it a try…

An architectural piece of art
Sophisticated and massive. Unique and familiar. Bright gold against dull grey. Quite a contrast. And symbolic. What the architect Rainer Freitag has visualised and created can be described as follows: a work of art in its own right.

The idea was to create a building in the shape of a gold bar – another recognisable symbol of pro aurum, as it were. It is self-explanatory and has a strong identity. The „over-ground“ dimensions have been precisely chosen: 42 metres long, 23 metres wide and 8 metres high. The dimensions are derived from the volume of gold mined around the world to date. Is that a lot or not much? We will leave that for you to decide, our customers and partners.

A building is a home …
… if you feel happy in it, the interior and external parts are in harmony and form one whole unit. The large-scale gold-coloured façade cladding has been made from recycled old coins and therefore provides another nice analogy to the main work of our company. Gold stands for intrinsic value, and concrete and basalt for solidarity and stability. All of which is fitting for an important trading company.

The world of information at the Goldhouse
In order to make the fascination of gold and the history of precious metals accessible to as many people as possible, we are setting up our own exhibition in the customer hall of the Goldhaus.

We don’t really want to call it a „museum“, but will give visitors an introduction to the mysterious and exciting world of worldwide precious metal mining, and show them 48 coins and bars made out of gold, silver, platinum and palladium.

Global activities …
… are not kept a secret. A large monitor provides a fascinating insight into the trading and production structures of gold, shows the mining and processing of precious metals and the role of pro aurum in this worldwide context.

Your precious metal deposit.

When it comes to the safe-keeping of your precious metals, you should not make any compromises. We can store items valued above 5,000 Euros indefinitely and securely. It goes without saying that you are and remain the sole and unrestricted owner and always have access to your „stocks“ during normal opening hours.

Everything is possible …
… well almost everything. You can have the precious metals regrouped at any time, i.e. exchange gold for silver. You can also add to your stocks and thereby remain extremely flexible with regards to your investment.

That also includes attractive purchase conditions, as the stocks stored with us can be fully or partially sold back to pro aurum, as desired.

Where should you put gold bars? Where are precious metals, coins, documents and personal details safe? At the bank or at home? Definitely not in the wardrobe or under the bed. Who is actually able to call a safe their own? No need to worry about security: as a customer of pro aurum you can make use of our safe deposit boxes at our branches in Munich, Berlin, Bad Homburg, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Saarbruecken, Stuttgart, Ulm and Zurich. We will be happy to offer you independent advice.

You have the choice…
…of four different sizes of safe deposit boxes, which you have access to at all times during normal opening hours. The smallest version alone offers 3,300 cubic centimetres and space amounting to 2,300 ounces of gold – with a current market value of around 1.5 million Euros. And if you don’t want to store quite as much gold as that: the safe deposit box can also store sensitive papers, coins and other articles.

One of its main functions is to perform a repeat check of all commercial transactions. Be it the confirmation of incoming customer payments, the maintenance of customer key data, or the daily financial assessment of stocks: in the back office, security plays a very important role when handling sensitive data.
